Nick’s Notes. The Resies
With just one game to report on and it was Winscombe the latest
visitors to the Lancer Scott Stadium. We started brightly and after
9 minutes Thomas Smart put us ahead with a neat tap in. Two
minutes later Jordan Bishop ended a mazy run by curling a sweet
shot into the far corner of the goal 2-0. Then it was Jason
Radnedge who got on the score sheet with a well worked goal. 3-
0 half time.
The second half we were much sharper switching the ball from side
to side Sonny Stiddard heading home Thomas Smarts corner
4-0.Then on 60 minutes Cam Main came off the bench and scored
from virtually his first touch a fine finish from outside the box 5-0.
64 minutes gone it was Thomas Smart again in the right place at
the right time to make it 6-0. Then Cam Main on 75 minutes made
it 7-0 . Main and Uppington were causing the opposition so much
trouble out wide and cutting in Uppington should have had a
penalty awarded on 77 minutes being harshly fouled in the box but
he didn’t get that decision. Two minutes later he was up ended in
the box once again this time the penalty was awarded and Thomas
Smart drilled home for his hat trick. Mason Hardidge also coming
off the bench finished off the scoring to make it 9-0. With Ryan
Clarke celebrating his birthday our keeper was a mere spectator for
most of the game but was happy to keep a clean sheet.
Tomorrow we entertain Hutton, here, 3pm kick off. Your support
would be very much appreciated.
Enjoy the local derby today.
