Great Effort from the Rocks, but just not Enough
By Will Primrose
Keynsham Town 4 Tytherington Rocks 2
Going into this game, the odds were
not in the Rocks favour as they faced
11th place Premier Division
Keynsham Town. This clearly did not
concern the Rocks because not one
minute in the whole game did they
slowdown in terms of effort. In the
opening stages of the game,
Keynsham got the upper hand with
a perfectly placed shot from Will
Hailston, right into the top right
corner where Kyrees Johnson was
unable to reach. Not too long after
that goal Keynsham scored another, which was deflected off of a Rocks’
defender just rolling over the line. During the time it took Keynsham to
score two, the Rocks were not far behind in terms of performance which
meant a deep shot was taken and Keynsham keeper, Seth Locke, made an
incredible diving save, but Bailey Croome was positioned perfectly to tap in
the loose ball. In the end Rocks played some of the best football they have
played, but Keynsham dominated in all aspects for most of the game. Both
teams remain in 11th, Keynsham in the Premier Division and Tytherington
in the First Division
