WELCOME TO SHIREHAMPTON F.C.
Good afternoon and welcome to Wells City Players, SHIREHAMPTON
Supporters and Officials.
FOOTBALL CLUB
Another tough task waits ahead for us today. Wednesday
was the worst 90 minutes since I’ve joined the club.
Weather was horrific and our attitudes matched that, it President
was a complete waste of time the body language on 3/4
players was all wrong, people moaning, it’s not Kelvin Gordon
acceptable and I won’t put up with that again. I still back
the lads and I’m putting it out there that I still believe Chairman:
they’re an honest hard working bunch and I’ll accept
Wednesday as being a one off but I want a reaction Pete McCall
today. I don’t care about the result today as such, I just petemccall1957@outlook.com
wanna see the lads caring about being on the pitch
working hard and having the correct attitude because
without hard work and a good attitude it doesn’t matter Secretary & Treasurer:
how much talent you have it won’t get you very far. Mark Stockham
markstockham@yahoo.co.uk
Unfortunately again something that I am going to have
to really look deeply into we are missing numerous
players and it can’t continue, it’s not always the same Assistant Secretary:
people but it happens to regular throughout the squad Richard Carey
this year. Rich Brightwell, Louis Snailham, Steve r-carey&sky.com
Fitzpatrick, Dan Morne, Eddie Polaine, Alfie Robinson are
all missing from Wednesdays game some with injuries
and some not. Again we won’t get anywhere without Matchday Secretary:
being fully committed to the cause and we need make James Hall
sure this is a one off this week and commitment levels
don’t drop off. It’s disappointing to be put in this position Committee Members:
today with lack of players but not a major concern just
yet as long as it’s stops becoming a regular occurrence James Loud
quickly as I do feels it’s been a problem this year with Sharlie Sollars
players missing games for the wrong reasons. Players Lee Rogers
also need to be fit enough for their bodies to cope with 2
games a week if they can’t cope with it and it’s too much Tom Donnely
they need to be honest and drop down to the reserves for
a while to build themselves up. People need to be Bar Manager:
available for Wednesdays and Saturdays regularly which
they normally are to be fair and I’ll accept this week as Alex Warman
unlucky that there are a few all away at the same time.
Club address:
Let’s hope all the negativity is left behind us from 3pm
today, we are positive, we work hard for each other, we Penpole Lane,
stop moaning on the pitch, we have the correct Body Shirehampton
Language, take responsibility rather than blaming Bristol BS11 0EA
someone else and that will lead to a better performance
I’m sure. The lads don’t turn from Fighters to cheaters
over night and I’m sure they will be as disappointed with Telephone number:
themselves as I am 0117 235 461
and will want to put things right today.
