WELCOME TO SHIREHAMPTON F.C.

Evening and a warm welcome to Bishop Lydeard FC SHIREHAMPTON
     management, players and supporters.
                                                       FOOTBALL CLUB
Tonight is a bit of the unknown to myself so we will have
to prepare and be on top of our game. I do like to do my
homework on teams we play but unfortunately I haven’t President
been able to get to watch any of tonight’s opponents Kelvin Gordon
games so we will just concentrate on ourselves and how we
     can play best.
                                                             Chairman:
Last Friday was a great result in our local Derby vs Hallen, Pete McCall
we completely controlled the game apart from the last 5 petemccall1957@outlook.com
mins when our concentration slipped. Again I refer to fine
margins and how easily we could have drew or even lost
that game Friday due to us not playing with the correct Vice Chairman:
attitude and intensity and concentration for the full 90 Sam Whittaker
mins. It would have been unfair had we not won the game
as we were by far the better team on the night but it’s Secretary & Treasurer:
another warning to us how hard this division is going to be. Mark Stockham
Last Fridays result whilst good won’t count for much if we
don’t back it up with another 3 points tonight and make it markstockham@yahoo.co.uk
3 wins on the bounce and 4 wins from 6 games which in
my opinion is a fantastic start for us. Committee Members:
                                                             James Loud
The squad has taken shape as I said it would. Mitchel
Greenslade and Adam Thorne are now with us to give us Sharlie Sollars
better options defensively alongside Ben Courtier who Lee Rogers
joined in the summer. Grant Mathieson is coming back to Richard Whittaker
fitness and will be knocking on the door soon which gives Paul Brimson
us an extra edge upfront alongside Regan Lashenko who Pete Kelly
joined in the summer also, and scored his first goal for us
last week an injury time winner which was great for him.
Shay Allen our keeper has committed for the season which Bar Manager:
is a big plus as he has been absolutely outstanding in the Alex Warman
first 6 games between the sticks. Scott Bamford is now
back and scored a brace Friday which is great for everyone
and all of a sudden we have competition and depth to the Club address:
squad which is pleasing. I’d like to get 1/2 others in but Penpole Lane,
they have to be right for us and they have to improve the Shirehampton
team but overall the last 10 has seen our squad expand and Bristol BS11 0EA
     made us a stronger group.
     Enjoy the game Telephone number:
