From the Dugout
Well the last 2 games have shown we s ll know where the back of the net
is with two comprehensive victories 7-0 at Odd Down & a 6-1 midweek
score line home to Hengrove.
We welcomed back Captain Asa White a er a 5 game suspension and he
carried on where he le off last season by marking his return with 2 goals.
Also back in the fold is club stalwart Danny Barwood his re rement at the
end of last season lasted 5 games and came off the bench last weekend at
Odd Down.
We would like to wish Ben Tucker all the best as he decided to join Wells
City to get more game me. Ben never let us down last season but was
compe ng with Lewis Ewins & Asa White for the right back spot.
Our last 3 games has seen use yield 17 goals but it’s fair to say we are s ll
not at our best.
We now face 3 tough games in the next week. Today’s visitors are Bi on
who are yet to taste defeat this season. We haven’t played them for a
couple of seasons but have been reinstated in Division 1 a er pulling out of
the Prem last season. We always have had tough games against them in the
past and today will be no different.
Tuesday night we travel to current leaders Bradford who are back in the
Western league a er 2 seasons in the Hellenic.
Then next Saturday is back to cup ac on when we travel to last years play
off winners Oldland in the FA Vase.
