Welcome to the Big Local Stadium

Greetings everyone and welcome to the Big Local Stadium, in
particular the management and players of today’s visitors
Stonehouse Town F.C. for this Uhlsport Hellenic League Wisemen’s
Lighting Floodlight Cup fixture. We should also welcome our Match
Officials and hope they enjoy their stay with us.

Last Saturday’s trip to Brimscombe & Thrupp for our delayed First
Round of the Isuzu FA Vase tie unfortunately saw us go down 2-0
after a spirited performance which underlined our improved form.
This had been in evidence the previous midweek when we disposed
of Premier Division Cinderford Town 4-3 in the Floodlight Cup. The
draw for the next stage of the competition has given us a very tough
assignment away at Premier Division leaders Worcester City but it will
give us a chance to pit ourselves against the League’s current best
team.

Today’s visitors Stonehouse Town FC are having a good season and
we can expect a tough challenge this afternoon.
