Manager’s Notes

Welcome to the Longwell Green 3G Arena for today’s game against
promotion chasing Wells City. We come into the game on the back
of two good team performances over Easter, everybody agreed we
were the better side against AEK. On Easter Monday we beat local
rivals Cadbury Heath 3-2 with two goals from man of the match Billy
Hensley and a fine goal from top goal scorer Matt Brown.

We have a tough game today against in form Wells City and then next
we play Warminster Town away and then the final game of the
season is home against Hallen FC.

All the best to our fine Under ’18 side who play Bishops Lydeard on
Wednesday night in the Floodlight Cup Final. Seven of the squad
have had a taste of playing in the first team this season. Cannot wait
to see the lads progress next season.
