North Leigh part ways with
Management
Premier Division South side North Leigh have announced the departure of Manager Eddie
Odhiambo and his Assistant Michael Alexis.
The short Club statement read "We unfortunately announce mutually parting ways with
Manager Eddie Odhiambo and Assistant Michael Alexis. We thank them for everything
they have done on and off the field. We will miss you so much"
Club Chairwoman, Sharon Claridge, went on to state "As Chairwoman this has been the
most difficult moment/decision I have been involved with at North Leigh FC. From myself
personally I would like to say I will forever be grateful to Eddie and Lex for giving me the
best and most enjoyable season I've ever had in football and to top it off getting us
promoted to Step3.
It's been an absolute pleasure working with you both. You both will forever have a
special place in my heart. I'm going to miss you both a lot. You never know maybe in the
future we might work together again. All the best of luck to you both on and off the field
. You are always welcome at Eynsham Park".
Billington Heads to Poole for
Experience
Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Poole Town have brought in
young defender Gabe Billington on `work experience` from League One side Exeter City.
The 18-year-old links up with the Dolphins ahead of their game with Merthyr Town at the
BlackGold Stadium on Saturday.
Billington made his Grecians first-team debut this season in the Papa Johns Trophy at
Forest Green Rovers and this move will further enhance his development within the
Exeter City academy.
Tiverton Take Young Grecian Defender
on Loan
Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Tiverton Town have signed
defender Ed James on loan from League One side Exeter City until the end of the
season.
This is James' second spell out on loan after spending an earlier part of the season on
loan at Vanarama National League South side Weymouth.
The young defender made his League debut this season in City's match against Oxford
United at St James`s Park as a first-half substitute.
James made his Tiverton debut on Monday, starting in their 3-2 defeat to Truro City.
