WELCOME TO SHIREHAMPTON F.C.
Good afternoon and welcome to Hallen FC players,
Supporters and Officials. SHIREHAMPTON
FOOTBALL CLUB
Todays local Derby is one I know our lads are looking
forward to, for years they have been playing in the
shadows of Hallen and this year to be competing against
them in the league is a credit to how far they’ve come as President
players and how far the club has come in a short space of Kelvin Gordon
time. As soon as the final whistle went Wednesday
everyone was excited for the derby and let’s hope the
performance matches Wednesdays and we can get Chairman:
something from the game. Pete McCall

Wednesday after a slow start and being 2 down inside 15
mins was a great performance, to play our way back into
the game and totally dominate against a good Wells City Secretary & Treasurer:
was a credit to the lads, we should have won comfortably Mark Stockham
by 4/5 goals they couldn’t live with us, we need to continue markstockham@yahoo.co.uk
this today and push on again after another inconsistent
spell where we lost 2 games previous.
Assistant Secretary:
Injuries are still haunting us, Bamford is playing through Richard Carey
the pain Barrier, Spicer aswell. Luca Owra has a hamstring r-carey&sky.com
injury, Ethan Kemball Knee, Charlie Pollinger Hip. Luckily
the big squad we have has meant we’ve still had a squad
of 14-16 every game over the season which is pleasing. Joe Matchday Secretary:
Heal returns to the squad, along with Jordan Laraway, Rich Nicky Carey
Brightwell who all missed Wednesdays game. Other good
news is Grant Mathieson made his long awaited return after
6 months out for the reserves Saturday. Committee Members:

Some big games coming up for us, we never expected to Sharlie Sollars
be in the position to be competing for the play offs but with
7 games to go and the position we find ourselves in we Lee Rogers
have to be realistic and now deem it an achievable target, Tom Donnely
Back to back games vs Wincanton after today will give us
a clearer indication of how things will pan out, whatever
happens I’m very proud of the squad and what we’ve Bar Manager:
achieved this year, we are playing with no pressure it’s a Alex Warman
free hit for us, many expected us to be fighting relegation,
whilst I wanted a top 10 finish in our first season, I think
we will achieve that now and anything else above that will Club address:
be a bonus. We will play with a smile on our face for the Penpole Lane,
remainder of the games and who knows what will happen, Shirehampton
it’s getting exciting now, and if we were to achieve a play
off position it would be a dream come true but there’s no Bristol BS11 0EA
pressure on us for it, there are clubs we are competing
against who have pulled in resources to obtain a play off Telephone number:
place and little old Shirehampton have no right to be
competing with them, but you never know in football. 0117 235 461
