Today’s Game


       Firstly, Cribbs FC would like to extend a very warm welcome to the visiting players,
       team management, supporters and officials of Hereford Lad's Club in the their first
       Hellenic Premier League match, together with the match officials to this evening's
       Uhlsport Hellenic League - Premier Division game. We hope that you enjoy your
       short time with us.

       Match Report
       Cribbs have enjoyed an extensive pre-season campaign.
       We bid a fond farewell to Somerset with games against many of our Toolstation
       friends from the county and have played testing home matches against Southern
       League Opposition, Tiverton Town and Wimborne Town.
       Last week we enjoyed a tour to the Cornish seaside, playing South-West Peninsula
       sides Camelford FC and Newquay AFC.
       Saturday's game against Wimborne was the last of the pre-season programme and
       was an entertaining 4-2 reverse.
       Wimborne led 1 nil at half time despite Cribbs having the better of the chances.
       Steve Murray was a regular scorer during pre-season but couldn't put away the
       chances that fell his way in the first half.
       Early in the second half Wimborne extended their lead, but Cribbs hit back straight
       away as good work from Danny Constable, saw him tee up George Kellow for a tap
       in at the far post. Kellow's equalizer shortly afterward was anything but a tap in as
       he struck a sublime volley from the edge of box.
       Rich Luffman then gambled on giving playing time to the rest of the squad and the
       changes all over the pitch saw Wimborne capitalize with late goals to win 4-2.
       This Evening's Opponents
       Hereford Lads Club have just been promoted from the Hellenic Western Division
       One and come into this match on the back of an unbeaten pre-season run.
       As always, get behind the boys, great to be back playing competitive football and
       we hope that this season will not be curtailed!
