Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Devizes Town FC, for this Toolstation Western
League Division One fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.

It seems that I can repeat almost word-for-word what was said in last
Monday’s programme.

We have now made six (now seven) outings in the League
this season and to say it has been a disappointing start
would be an understatement. Our biggest problem has been
scoring goals which is brought home to everyone when you
look at our results so far.

Again on Ban Holiday Monday we were always well in the game
against Boco but finished on the losing side and once again failed to
score!

Today we meet Devizes Town who have made a reasonable start to
their own campaign and will be looking to maintain that today.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
again next Saturday 11 September for our Buildbase FA Vase tie

against Cheltenham Saracens (3pm).
