Heatbreak for Brimscombe & Thrupp as they lost on penalties to Shaftsbury after
a 3-3 draw!

Mangotsfield United also bowed out of the comptiton losing 4-0 at Clevedon Town.
In our two all Hellenic FA Vase ties it was the away side who made it through to
the next round. Cribbs were 2-1 victors over Thornbury Town, while Corsham Town
were 3-1 victors at Roman Glass St George.

There was penalty joy for one of our clubs as Royal Wootton Bassett Town won 5-4
on penalties at Wellington.

Win of the day perhaps goes to Hartpury University. Travelling all the way to
Mousehole in Cornwall they emerged 2-1 victors. Goals from Mahoney and
Robinson sent the Acorns through to the next round. Uncharted territory for
Hartpury University who are competing in the FA Vase for the first time this season.
