P. 3
Good afternoon all.
Today we welcome the players, officials
and supporters of our close neighbours
Brislington for what is the penultimate
league game of the season. Can I also
welcome today’s match officials ,
referee Kevin Slade and assistants Ben
Boardman & Mark Oswin.
It seems an age ago now that we
visited Brislington early in the season,
coming away with all three points in
what I recall was a fine attacking
display. More of the same today would
be very welcome, but we know that we are in for another tough one.
The season , of course , still holds a great deal of excitement for us.
The boys having battled through to the semi finals of the Les Phillips
Cup, in which we now know that we will face Cadbury Heath away
for a place in the final. This one is now scheduled for Wednesday 27
April (7.30pm). It has been a fantastic achievement to reach this
stage of the competition and I hope that as many of you as possible
will be able to make the short journey to cheer the team on!
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy today’s game and I thank you for
your support.
.
