Keynsham Town are in the
Toolstation Western League
Division 1. You may remember
we passed it on the way to
Brislington in August. A Friday
night provided a chance to add
another ground in this league
to the collection.
Keynsham Town were
relegated in 2022/23 from the
Premier Division along with
Cadbury Heath. They find
themselves 19th in the table
though with the development
of players and a 4G pitch the
Crown Field still retains it
original charm showing that
grounds can have artificial
surfaces and still have some character.

There is a wonderful old style turnstile on the entrance and programmes and
badges available on the gate (which of course makes me very happy). A crowd of
157 watch the game which is
good for a step 6 fixture and
a side at the lower end of the
league table.
Visitors Radstock Town are in
2nd place and could go top if
they win tonight. A fast start
sees them 3-0 up at the
break and seemingly
cruising. Keynsham's young
team make a real go of it in
the second half and perhaps
deserve more than just the
one goal that sees the
scoreline end up 3-1.
