An underwhelming write-up from us this week after a very
underwhelming game against Wells City Reserves in the league cup
last weekend. With a poor start to the first half which bore striking
similarities to watching paint dry, the lads appeared disjointed and
lacking in confidence. However, we gained momentum in the second
half with goals from both Seb & Dylan. There were stronger
performances from the wider team during the latter part of the game
with particularly great efforts from Rhys & Brad Caton. With Beau
keen to secure herself a trip to Wagamamas, Rhys took podium place
and was awarded the WAGs MOTM medal for the Wells game!

A special thanks to fellow WAG, Sam, for gifting Beau a megaphone
which will be fully utilised this season. If Beau’s deafening screech
wasn’t enough to whip the boys into shape until now, this will
definitely do the job; she’s now armed & more dangerous than ever.

We’re hoping the lads give us a glimpse of the talent we witnessed
during preseason as we resume our league matches against
Wrington at home this weekend.
