Alex Lambert - Winger
SPONSORED BY SIMON LAMBERT. Alex is no stranger to Yate after playing for the Youth
setup before progressing to senior football. A personal trainer by trade Alex has great agility
and uses his strength and speed to great effect. After finishing university Alex moved to
Bristol based Brislington before moving to Larkhall Athletic from where he signs this season.
Olly Mehew - Forward
Olly is a striker who joined us after being released by Forest Green Rovers at the end of
2017-18 season, and was our leading scorer in his first season at Lodge Road. He was a
scholar at Blackburn Rovers before joining Bristol Rovers, and has previously appeared on
loan for a variety of non-league clubs including Mangotsfield Utd, Cirencester Town,
Bideford, Salisbury, Evesham Utd, Taunton Town and Dorchester Town. He returned to the
club at the start of last season after a period with Bristol Manor Farm.
Pierce Mitchell - Central Defender
Pierce joins us from Swindon Supermarine where he spent the past two seasons. As a
youngster Pierce was capped 6 times by the Republic of Ireland u17’s and has plenty of
experience having competed in the National league South and Southern Premier League for
the last six seasons. Previous Clubs Bristol Rovers, Truro, Taunton, Tiverton and Swindon
Supermarine.

Toby Raison - Central Defender
Toby is a tall commanding central defender who likes to organise the back line. After coming
through Hereford FC’s youth system he enjoyed two years with the first team and took in
loan moves at Bromsgrove Sporting and Merthyr Town at step 3 to help further his
development.

Brandon Smalley - Forward
Recently signed Brandon joins us this season having previously been playing in the USA.
Brandon has already demonstrated his ruthless finishing abilities and his ability to glide with
the ball. His abilities haven’t gone un noticed and he has recently been selected for the
England Universities team for his performances for Hartpury University where he was voted
player of the year last season.
Joe Tumelty - Central Midfield
SPONSORED BY TRACEY PETERS & DAVE CHANNON. “Tums” is an experienced
attacking midfielder who arrived from Larkhall in the summer of 2021 and will hope to add
creativity and a share of goals to Yate this season. Joe has also had spells Bristol Manor
Farm, Hereford and Chippenham amongst others.

Leighton Tuodolo - Full Back
New addition Leighton joins us from Chippenham Town where he was part of their
development setup. Having previously played Southern League Football for Paulton Rovers
and Slimbridge, Leighton steps up to the Premier Division South hoping to cement a regular
spot in the team.
