Koby Arthur
Former Birmingham City midfielder joined us in August 2021. The
25-year-old Ghanaian featured in our pre-season games against
Watford and Tonbridge Angels, where he scored our first goal after
just 17 seconds in the 4-0 win. Arthur made 16 appearances in all
competitions for Birmingham, including 12 in the Championship
after making his debut against Wolves in April 2013. During his
time with the Blues, Arthur, who will wear the number 22 shirt for
Andy Hessenthaler’s side, also spent time on loan with League
2 Cheltenham Town and Lincoln City in the National League. After
being released by Birmingham, Arthur joined Macclesfield Town
and was a member of their National League winning team in the
2017/2018 season. He featured in 20 League 2 games for the
Silkmen the following season, making 25 appearances in all competitions, before leaving the
club at the end of the campaign. He joined National League North side Kidderminster
Harriers ahead of the 2020/21 season making 12 appearances in all competitions before the
season was cancelled.
Ryan Hanson
The midfielder made the move to Crabble a permanent one in July 2021 after playing seven
times while on loan with us from then League One side Hull City last season. The 20-year-
old, a former Dover Boys Grammar School student, joined the Tigers in the summer of 2019
after being released by Crystal Palace, where he had spent five years. He joined Palace after
impressing while playing for the Dover Athletic under-13’s in a Kent League tournament.
Hanson started playing football for Dover Rangers when he was six and has also represented
Dover District and Kent.
Yannis Drais
The midfielder arrived at the club on a non-contract basis in late September. Made his debut
as a second-half substitute in the National League game at Grimsby on October 2nd.
Khale Da Costa
Winger who signed in June 2021 after leaving Tonbridge Angels in April. The 27-year-old
joined the Angels in June 2019 from St Albans City and went on to make 46 appearances,
scoring six goals. He started his football career in the academies at Fulham and Luton Town
before going to play senior football at Ware Town, Hendon, Harlow Town, and Concord
Rangers.
Ricky Miller
The 32-year-old returned to Crabble as Manager Andy
Hessenthaler’s first summer signing in June after leaving fellow
National League side Aldershot Town earlier this month. Our new
number 9 joined the Shots in January and made 22 appearances,
scoring three goals, during his time with them. Miller originally
joined us from Luton Town in June 2015 and went on to score 68
goals in 101 appearances before leaving for League One club
Peterborough United in 2017. Since then he has played for
Mansfield Town (loan) and Port Vale before joining Aldershot. In his
final season at Crabble, Miller was named National League Player
of the Year, DAFC Players’ Player of the Season, the Supporters
Player of the Season, and the Golden Boot after he finished the
season with 46 goals, including 40 in the National League. Miller’s stunning goal tally in his
final season here included five league hat-tricks – including one in his farewell appearance
at Barrow on the final day of the season to help Whites to a 3-2 win. Since then he has
played for Mansfield Town (loan) and Port Vale before joining Aldershot.
Ben Williamson
Former Bromley forward joined us in June 2021. Williamson left the Ravens earlier the same
month after joining them from fellow National League side Eastleigh in November 2019. He
went on to make 52 appearances for our Kent rivals, scoring five times, including the goal
