Today’s opponents return to the South West Interiors Stadium fully rested as they
did not play on the weekend. Dover are without a win in 11 league games so far
and their struggles in recent times have been well documented, as they withdrew
from the National League last season, and were saved from relegation by virtue of
the leagues below not playing due to Covid-19.

However, the Whites will be boosted by the return of hero striker Ricky Miller,
whose first spell at the club yielded 65 goals in 96 games and a move to
Peterborough United in 2017. Miller scored in the reverse fixture at Crabble to level
the tie and force the replay, and will undoubtedly be a threat to the Bluebells’
defence this evening.
The prize for tonight’s winner is a first round match up with National League side
Yeovil Town, after the Glovers overcame missing a 120 minute penalty to win the

shootout against Weymouth and seal their place in round one. The huge crowd was
incredible to see last week and all of your support, plus any additional backing will
be greatly appreciated to give the lads that extra push to attempt to seal Yate
Town’s place in the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in eight years.
