Gillingham have guaranteed themselves a top half finish with a 2-1 victory over
Cardiff City Ladies, who find themselves with an anxious last day on Sunday. Vicky Ashton-
Jones and Amy Russ scored the goals for Gillingham, with Kylie Nolan replying.
Plymouth Argyle meanwhile took a massive stride towards safety when they beat
Hounslow Women 5-0. Gabi Alphous was on target twice for Argyle along with Zoe
Cunningham, Natasha Knapman and Kayley Lane.
       Division One North
Liverpool Feds will have another chance to win the title this week after being held to a goalless
draw by Leeds Utd. The result leaves the Feds six points clear of Newcastle Utd, who have
       two games left to play.
Despite picking up a good result on Sunday, Leeds' hopes of a top three finish took a
knock due to Durham Cestria running out 5-2 winners over Chorley. Ellen Turnbull scored
twice for the Wildcats, who need to win their final game to secure third place, whilst Megan
Elliott, Jennifer Knowles and Nicki Gears added the others, with Jessica Gillin and Beth Worth
       replying.
Barnsley recovered from a midweek setback to win 5-1 away to Chester-le-Street
Town and take themselves out of the bottom three. After Isla Maggs had given the Cestrians the
lead, Barnsley hit back for three valuable points with strikes from Natalie Shaw, Eve Marshall,
Jodie Michalska, Courteney Csomor and Taviah Myles.
Barnsley are up into eighth place, inbetween Bradford City and Norton & Stockton
Ancients whose meeting finished in a 3-3 draw. Charlotte Stuart netted twice for City along
with Sophie Hawkins, whilst Norton scored through a Bianca Owens double and Lily Patrick.
       Division One Midlands
It has been a tremendous season for Champions Boldmere St Michaels but it ended on a
losing note on Sunday, beaten 1-0 by Leafield Athletic. Chantelle Teare scored the only goal
of the game, ten minutes from time, to seal a result which guarantees safety for Leafield.
Lincoln City meanwhile kept themselves in the running for the runners-up with an
eight-goal victory away to Burton Albion. Toni McHamilton netted two penalties and she was
joined on the scoresheet by Chantelle Robinson, Lauryn Wilcock, Alivia Chambers, Katie
Williams, Betsy Thomas and Tilly Fantom.
Sporting Khalsa came away from Leek Town with a 1-0 victory under their belts. A
win would have taken Leek fourth but a goal just before half time from Laura Smith keeps
Khalsa's hopes alive of a top half finish.
The spoils were shared at Bedworth Utd where the home side drew 1-1 with Wem
Town, who scored through Katie Doster.
       Division One South East
One match was played in the division on Sunday and Cambridge City were celebrating
achieving safety with a 4-1 victory away to local rivals Cambridge Utd. Isabella Simmons and
Grace Stanley netted two goals apiece for City, whilst United's consolation was scored by Laura
       Baker.
       Division One South West
Southampton Women still have an outside chance of finishing as runners-up after they ran
out 6-1 winners over Larkhall Athletic. Sian Wylie scored twice for Southampton along with
Kiera Heslam, Hannah Samuels, Summer Kilby and Chloe Tucker, before Chloe Snook netted a
       late consolation for the Larks.
Southampton will need a five-goal victory in their last game to finish above AFC
Bournemouth, but that game is against Exeter City who would take third place with a win.
Exeter kept themselves in with a chance by beating Chesham Utd 4-2, thanks to braces from
Connie Pengelly and Sarah Stacey, whilst Chesham's replies came from Emma Delves and Kim
       Farrow.
