Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Shirehampton FC for this Toolstation Western League First
Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have a
safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
enjoy the game.

The win-less run goes on. It has now stretched to ten games following last
week’s 2-1 defeat at Bishop Sutton. We did call a minor halt to the poor list
of results when we drew 2-2 at Bishops Lydeard but the trend was not
continued on Saturday.

Today we meet Shirehampton for the first time as a Western League Club.
Having been promoted from the County League at the end of last season
they have made a good start to life in the higher level and we expect a stern
test from them today.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.
