Wags
So after last week’s appearance in the programme it was no surprise that Ryan and
Kevin came begging the WAGS for weekly appearances, and who were we to deprive
you all of the only piece of good literature the programme sees all week!
Last week saw us play Fry Club at home. It also saw an unsolicited amount of Connor
Biggins thighs due to his constant hiking of his shorts up to groin level, but we move
on.
Our only goal that night - coming from a WAGS favourite, Dylan Whittle - led us to our
7th win out of 7.
For the first time in a long time if felt like cancelling every bit of social life, racking up
a shocking amount of mileage, and getting wetter than an otters pocket was finally
worth it.
I mean… who wants to be glammed up, brunching in the dry and downing pornstar
martinis with friends when you could be stood in an ankle deep puddle in 30mph
winds, watching grown men celebrate in a stomach turning, similar fashion to our U7’s
(Seb and Connor!!) … sickening.
This weeks match - however - sees the return of a club that makes us WAGS sweat
like a nun in a brothel. Can our lads keep their composure? Can they keep up the level
of perfomance we’ve seen so far this season? Can Lewis stay in his box and stop
coming out to the half way line? All of these questions will be answered in Saturdays
game.
The thing we’re most excited for this week is for the WAG’s favourite silver fox, Jon
Meade, to make his return. The biggest WAGS enabler is finally back where he belongs
and we couldn’t be happier!
Who will get the WAGS MOTM and who will be in their spotlight for next weeks
column? Only time will tell.
We wish the boys all the best for this weeks match and we look forward to sitting
upstairs with our ear defenders on whilst you proudly (but cringeworthingly) scream
along to ‘Free From Desire’ in celebration!
Up the Mendip!
Love,
Sam, Beau and Shannon
