A Word from the Chairman….

Good afternoon and welcome to the
       Players, Officials and Supporters of
       Nailsea and Tickenham Football Club.
We hope they enjoy their visit to BBS
Park the home of Mendip Broadwalk
and have a safe journey home this
       evening.

       August completed.
Played 7 league games and chalked up
7 wins. In all 7 wins they've been very
competitive games and we've had to
show real character to grind out the results.
Last Saturday it was 1st v 4th as we faced a strong Fry Club. Both sides
had a couple of players missing but with us sitting top and Frys having
had a decent start to the season it looked like a cracker was on the cards.
Instead it was a largely frustrating game with us having more of the
game and chances but unable to get the second goal to kill the game off.

Today’s game is a welcome break from league action. The County Cup
has thrown up some tasty fixtures.
We expect today’s game against Nailsea and Tickenham Reserves to be
       a tough test.
We know them very well as they have some local lads playing for them
who should be playing at a much higher standard.

You will notice work continues to improve the facility and BBS Park to
bring us inline with Western League standards. The ambition of the club
is to achieve this sooner rather than later.
Only time will tell if we have the squad and the facility. As always we’ll
       be giving it everything !!

Hopefully see you in the bar after for a chat about today’s game.

       Kev
