WELCOME TO SHIREHAMPTON F.C.

Good afternoon and welcome to Hardwickes players,
     supporters and officials. SHIREHAMPTON
                                                       FOOTBALL CLUB
Today we test ourselves against the only team to beat us
in the league so far this season, we expect another tough
test but hopefully we can get a result and even things up. President
                                                            Kelvin Gordon
We were back to being injury free last week with players
only missing now through other commitments which
hopefully won’t be too often seeing our position in the Chairman:
league and only 10 games remaining. You’d like to think Pete McCall
everyone will be desperate to play these games now and
get us over the line. petemccall1957@outlook.com

One disappointing bit of news from last week is influential Vice Chairman:
midfielder Steve Fitzpatrick sustained what looks like a Sam Whittaker
serious knee injury, he’s awaiting confirmation but the
chances of him returning this season are probably zero.
Steve will be a big loss there’s no hiding how highly I rate Secretary & Treasurer:
him and I’ve always said he’s one of those players who’s Mark Stockham
just sits in midfield and goes about his business quietly and
you don’t realise what he does until he isn’t there. We have markstockham@yahoo.co.uk
10 games now for someone to step upto the plate and
make sure he’s not missed too much on the field. This is Committee Members:
why having a big squad was so important to me and Lee so
we knew we could cope if these situations arose. James Loud
                                                            Sharlie Sollars
A couple of new signings to mention since we last played Lee Rogers
home, Jamie Horgan has signed until the end of the Richard Whittaker
season, Jamie is an attacker who previously was a pro with
Bristol City and has recently played for Bath City & Frome Paul Brimson
Town. Also signed is forward Ryan Radford previously of Pete Kelly
Roman Glass and Cribbs, Ryan is a prolific scorer who
needs to play in a front 2 to get the best out of him, he’s
become frustrated of late playing out wide and not doing Bar Manager:
his best work in and around the box so he’s agreed to join Alex Warman
us till the end of the season to start scoring goals and enjoy
his football again. Finally we have also signed Centre Half
Jamie Turner who is club captain and at Manor Farm. Club address:
Jamie’s been out for over a year with knee problems and Penpole Lane,
he’s been back playing locally for the past month so, when
I realised this I asked the question and he was happy to Shirehampton
come till the end of the season and use it as the next step Bristol BS11 0EA
up in his recovery, we are very lucky to have a player/
leader like Jamie and he was solid for us last week on his
     debut at Quedgeley. Telephone number:
                                                            0117 235 461
     Enjoy the game
