Westward Developments Devon League
Liverton Utd are leading the way by three points following their 4-1 victory at Budleigh Salterton.
Second placed Halwill Ladies won 3-1 against Signal Box Oak Villa, courtesy of goals from Siobhan
Aslett, Lauren Averall and Kelly Gilbert.
Exeter City Res produced another high scoring win in Division One, this time scoring ten
times without reply against Torquay Utd Res. Sophie Skilton hit a hat-trick along side doubles from
Kelsey Salter and Danni Wyatt, Antonia Nash, Rachael Poole and Emily Saunders completing the tally.
Exeter head the table by three points from Seaton Town who beat Cullompton Rangers 5-1 with
goals from Georgina Lamprill (2), Megan Griffiths, Lara Spiers and Megan Isgrove. Laura Short and
Courtney Ward gave Bude Town a 2-1 success away to Bradninch Women and Plainmoor Ladies
defeated Axminster Town 3-1 thanks to Sarah Betterton, Lisa Quaintance and Kerry Stapleton.
Gloucestershire League
Bristol Rovers opened up their league campaign on Sunday with a 3-1 victory away to Bristol &
West. The home side would have gone top if they had avoided defeat but strikes from Annys Turner (2)
and Libby Bell saw Rovers to victory, with Emma Bowden replying. Cotswold Rangers meanwhile
won for the first time, 3-1 against Longwell Green.
Emily Nicholson and Abbie Mitchell scored the goals for Olveston Utd as they defeated
Cheltenham Civil Service 2-0 to take themselves three points clear at the top of Division Two.
Longlevens are up into second after a Lauren Mills brace and Olivia Kosylowicz gave them a 3-1
success away to Bristol Rovers Development, whose consolation came from Jessica Frazer.
Bishop's Cleeve join them on six points following their 7-1 win at Mitcheldean SC in which Isabelle
Torrington was on target four times and Leonie Gough bagged a hat-trick. Cirencester Town
meanwhile won for the first time, 3-0 against Dursley Town courtesy of Libberty Messenger, Bec
Brannan and Megan Ford.
Ellwood Ladies are continuing to make the early running in Division Three, making it four
wins out of four when beating Bristol Ladies Union Development 5-2. Sophie Drain bagged a
double along with Hannah Jenkins, Abbie-Jaye Wilson and Helen Edwards, with Polly Garton netting
twice in reply. Ellie Carrington-Windo, Jess Dobbins and Chloe Taylor all hit hat-tricks for Tuffley
Rovers in their victory against Bradley Stoke Vixens. Robyn Lee and Danielle Proctor each scored
twice and they were joined on the scoresheet by Ellen Knight, Imogen Maguire, Katie Morrissey and
Laura Howell. Red Falcon Club kept up their good start with a 4-1 win over Southmead
Community Sports, thanks to a Roberta Hyam double, Tierney Harris and Kelly Maggs. Frankie
Berrymoore and Jessica Nicholls accounted for the goals for Whitchurch & Bristol in their 2-1
victory away to Winchcombe Town, who replied through Frida Malm.
Greater London League
Walton Casuals lead the Premier Division table by three points after recording their fourth straight
win, Lauren Nicholson scoring the only goal of the game against Islington Borough. Brentford
defeated Dulwich Hamlet Res 2-1 to move up to second place, Kaitlyn Spencer-Dempsey and Molly
O'Reilly were their markswomen. Clapton Community went down to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of
Enfield Town Res, who scored through Katie Harris, Claire Huggins and Olivia Syson. Crystal
Palace Development climbed into mid-table after beating Hampton & Richmond Borough 5-1,
Kayleigh Cartwright hitting a hat-trick and Elle Johnson adding the other two.
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
AFC Bentley were the top scorers in Division One, registering an 8-0 victory over Handsworth.
Gemma Harte was top individual scorer with six, while Rachael Mullen and Demi Hadwin chipped in
with one each. Barnsley FC Ladies are a separate outfit from Barnsley Women (in the FAWNL),
though several of the Ladies squad are former players of the latter who changed their moniker from
Ladies to Women a year ago. Barnsley won 2-0 at Oughtibridge Development with Kate Davies, a
youngster making her senior debut, on target along with Sadie Hooper. Holly Brackenbury netted both
for newcomers Wakefield Trinity Development in a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday Res, for
whom Danielle Parker scored. Becky Hill (2), Ruby Burns and Lucy Paley were on target for Dronfield
Town who began with a 4-1 victory at Harworth Colliery, Tara Fisher the scorer for the hosts.
The highest scoring game overall took place in Division Two where St Joseph’s Rockware of
Worksop won 11-4 at Sheffield Utd Community Foundation Res. Emily Murphy netted five for
the visitors, Beth Gingell bagged a hat-trick, while Ayesha O’Malley (2) and Emily Charlesworth
completed the scoring for SJR. Sara Tyler (2), Sarah Anderson and Kelly Brailsford were the scorers for
