Wolverhampton Wanderers on a penalty shootout after the teams had shared a 3-3 draw.
Rosie Kinvig, Erin Slade and Jennifer Rogers all scored for the Feds, with Wolves netting
through Kelly Darby, Beth Merrick and Laura Cooper, before the Feds triumphed 3-2 from the
spot.
League Plate

win away to Bedworth Utd. Niamh Reynolds, Rachel Brown, Hayley James, Amy West and
Sophie Bonser were all on target for Forest, with Milly Miller replying.
Northern Premier Division
Fylde Women moved themselves to within three points of league leaders Derby County by
winning 2-0 against Loughborough Lightning. Faye McCoy scored both goals for the
Coasters, both from the penalty spot, to keep them firmly in the title race.
Burnley FC Women meanwhile cemented their position in the top half, thanks to a
3-1 victory away to Middlesbrough. Sarah Greenhalgh, Millie Ravening and Elizabeth Hamer
all netted a goal apiece, before 'Boro grabbed a late consolation through Jessica Foster.
West Bromwich Albion continue to make their way up the league and are firmly in
mid-table following their 1-0 win against Stoke City, given to them by a solitary strike from
Shannon Stamps.
Southern Premier Division
Leaders Ipswich Town head the table by six points but were held to a 1-1 draw by
Portsmouth. Natasha Thomas was on target for Ipswich but a goal from Evie Gane earned
Pompey their best result of the season to date.
Milton Keynes Dons made it two wins on the trot when scoring five times without
reply past Hounslow Women. Cherrelle Albert netted a brace for the Dons and she was
joined on the scoresheet by Laura Bright, Marianne Taho and Sofia Stovold.
Plymouth Argyle also notched up their second league victory of the season, 5-1 away
to Cardiff City Ladies. Gabi Alphous scored a goal in each half along with Zoe Cunningham,
Amber Pollock and Emily Eaton, with Cardiff's consolation coming from Kelly Isaac.
Division One North
While leaders Liverpool Feds were in League Cup action, Newcastle Utd took the chance
to narrow the gap on them to five points by scoring ten times without reply past FC United of
Manchester. Lauren Robson led the scoring with a hat-trick, Katie Barker weighed in with a
double and there was one apiece from Georgia Gibson, Beth Guy, Rachel Lee and Keira Skelton
along with an own goal.
Durham Cestria are up into fourth place following their 3-1 local derby victory over
Chester-le-Street Town. Erin Nicholson, Amy Richardson and Jordan Atkinson scored the
goals for the Wildcats, with Nichole Havery replying.
Barnsley meanwhile continued their climb away from trouble by winning 2-1 at
Norton & Stockton Ancients. Emily Brett's early goal for Barnsley was cancelled out by
Victoria Burton, before Emily Pierrepont netted the winner with ten minutes remaining.
