WELCOME TO SHIREHAMPTON F.C.
Welcome to Cheddars players, officials and supporters. SHIREHAMPTON
3 games in and not the start we would have wished for with FOOTBALL CLUB
1 win and 2 defeats. I believe we should have at least 6
points on the board but the games are decided on fine
margins and unfortunately for us we are on a steep President
learning curve. We have to take our chances when on top Kelvin Gordon
and defend properly with minimal errors throughout the
games.
Chairman:
I’m certain we will turn it around, although today isn’t Pete McCall
helped with missing key players Scott Bamford, Louis petemccall1957@outlook.com
Snailham, Grant Mathieson, Charlie Pollinger and Ryan
Radford being touch and go. This time of year with holidays
and muscle injuries due to the hard ground is always Vice Chairman:
testing but we have to dig deep and overcome the Sam Whittaker
problems we have today.
Secretary & Treasurer:
The new signings have settled in well. Goalkeeper Shay Mark Stockham
Allen has been great and offers us reassurances at the
back. Ben Courtier has had a great start playing centre half markstockham@yahoo.co.uk
without a proper recognised partner so far, this is
something I’m working hard to solve. Grant Mathieson Committee Members:
played well vs Longwell Green but is struggling with a groin James Loud
problem at present which is niggling him and making him
unavailable. Adam Thorne returns to the club after leaving Sharlie Sollars
during the tail end of last season and just our luck he’s out Lee Rogers
injured now after getting his blistered infected during the Richard Whittaker
week. Paul Brimson
Pete Kelly
I’m still trying hard to add 2/3 new players to the squad
which I feel we will need going forward, I’m waiting and
watching patiently to see the fall out at clubs around us and Bar Manager:
see what players have been sold a false dream and aren’t Alex Warman
getting in at there current clubs and ready to move for
them. I’m close I believe on securing 3 but nothings
guaranteed. Club address:
Penpole Lane,
Bamford, Radford, Mathieson should all return next week Shirehampton
vs Hallen which will ease a few of our problems up the top Bristol BS11 0EA
end of the pitch and then it’s about settling the squad down
finding a way of playing and trying to put a few decent
results together. Telephone number:

Enjoy the game and stay hydrated
