GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY WOMEN’S FOOTBALL LEAGUE

GORDON PERRETT MEMORIAL CUP COMPETITION

Rules
1. This competition shall be called the Gordon Perrett League Cup.

2. The League Management Committee shall have complete control
and management of the League Cup Competition including the exact
form the Competition will take.

3. The competition may be played on a "Knock-out" basis.
The ties shall be drawn at a time and venue as decreed by the
Management Committee.
Clubs will be drawn in pairs up to and including the semi-finals, the
tie shall be played on the ground of Club first drawn.
In the event of a Club not being able to play the tie on its own ground
on the date fixed, it must be played on the ground of its opponents,
who shall be considered the Home Club for the purpose of the
match.
Ties postponed too late for this arrangement to be carried out shall
be rearranged by the League Fixture Secretary and played on the
ground of the Club drawn at home.

4. The Cup will remain the property of the Gloucestershire County
Women’s League. When the winning Club has been ascertained, the
League shall deliver the Cup to such Club, which shall be
responsible for its return to the League on or before the date
specified on the TROPHY AGREEMENT signed by the winning club,
in good order and condition. Should the Cup be lost, destroyed or
damaged by any cause whilst under the care or custody of the Club,
the latter shall refund to the League the cost of replacement or
thorough repair in addition to any other penalty which the
Management Committee may impose.

5. In addition to the Cup, the League shall (if League funds permit)
make awards to the players and substitutes in the Final tie.

6. The League Cup will be competed for annually by Clubs in
membership of the Gloucestershire County Women’s League. The
dates of ties (with the exception of the Final) will be fixed and
recorded in the League handbook.
