Cheltenham Saracens Squad 2023 / 2024
Jon Dix (GK) Goalkeeper Very promising young goalkeeper who has
made the step up from our Under 18s, at
just 17 he’s a great shot stopper and we
look forward to seeing him develop
throughout the season.
Jacob Newell Defence A calm, collected defender with an eye for
a pass, comfortable with the ball on the
ground or in the air.
Archie Woods Defence Strong in the tackle and composed on the
ball, has made the step up from last
season’s U18s and Development team.
Tom Hoskins Defence A no nonsense defender who brings
leadership and experience to the squad
and can pop up with the odd goal or two.
Coby Handley Defence Attacking full back Cobys second season
with us since making the step up to
Hellenic League level brings pace and
energy up and down the flanks.
Aaron Mason Defence Aaron makes the step up after impressing
with our development team last season,
plays left back great going forward but just
as good when defending.
Connor Stalley Defence/ Another of our Under 18s making the step
Midfield up, rarely gives that ball away, decent all-
round player, comfortable on the ball going
forward or defending.
Oluwasemiore Midfield Steady on that ball, a calming influence on
Ibidapo the pitch, can play a number of positions,
great link up play.
John Evans Midfield (Tuggy) One of the older heads in the
group now, John brings composure and
quality to the side. Equally at home in
midfield or centre back.
Edd Major Midfield Edds first season with the club, great on
the ball, a real driving force, great work
rate and can score goals as well.
Alfie Richmond Midfield Alfie, another of last years Under 18s who
was involved in the squad for the end of
last season. Tenacious in the tackle, bags
of energy never stops running.
