View from the dugout

With no games for the last few weeks it is probably a good me to reflect
on the season so far.

We currently sit 3rd in the league 3 points behind Nailsea in 2nd & 6 points
behind Wells in 1st we have 2 games in hand at the moment & are due to
play both sides again later in the season. It seems at the moment
everything is very much in our own hands. But as we know sides can easily
slip up if they become complacent.

We have only suffered 3 defeats over the course of the season and have put
some decent runs together. We have kept 12 clean sheets during the
season.

The squad has stay pre y much the same with only Danny Dodimead s ll
missing due to suspension.

Perksy has added to the squad during the season with Oaklan Buck &
Leaders show their worth
Jordan Me ers coming in.

Goals are being shared about the team with Captain Asa White topping the
charts. Not bad from Centre Half. Dean Griffiths is hot on his heals with
Buck, Jones, Dodimead all chipping in.

We have won one team of the month award & 2 of our players Asa White
& Jordan Ricke s have picked up player of month awards.

As we move into the new year we know we have to keep the pressure on
the top two and also know we cannot slip up. We have a squad good
enough to win every game le but we know that sides tend to raise their
games when they play us.

Today we face a Shire side who we know are capable of bea ng any side in
this league so we know we will have to be switched on from the start. And
hope the players didn’t over indulge too much yesterday.
