Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to the
players, coaching team and supporters of our visitors
Longwell Green for this Toolstation Western League
       Division One local derby.
Our committee would also like to welcome today’s match
officials, referee Becca Halford and her 2 assistants,
       Damon McEllin & Andy Dixon.
Last Saturday saw us record our first win of the season
with a fine 3-2 win away to Cheddar. In the proverbial
“game of two halves”, we roared into a 3-0 lead at
halftime with goals by Kyle Box and a brace from Jaheim
Allen. However the hosts pulled 2 goals back in the third
quarter to make for a nervy finish, but the lads clung on
       for the 3 points.
Tuesday night saw us ultimately come up short against an impressive Portishead
Town side. After Tom Ovigne scored his first Ks goal to put us level, we conceded
right on halftime. Despite having chances in the second half to get at least a point,
2 late goals from the visitors gave them a somewhat flattering 4-1 margin of
       victory.
Don’t forget that you can still save yourselves money by purchasing a Ks season
ticket, which entitles free admission to all home League games for both the First
Team and Reserves this season; these are priced at a bargain £99 for adults and
£59 for over 65s. For an additional £12, it is also possible to buy a permit for free
car parking in the stadium car park valid for 12 months. Season tickets can be
purchased on the day of a game at the ground, or alternatively please email me on
       jules1233@live.com .
Please keep an eye out on our social media channels over the next few days for
some exciting news regarding sponsorship opportunities for this season.
In the meantime, we have another local derby this coming Wednesday at Cadbury
Heath, before we host Hellenic League Premier Division outfit Longlevens in the FA
Vase First Qualifying Round at Crown Fields on Saturday 26 August (3:00 pm kick-
                                                          th
       off).
As always, I thank you in anticipation of your support for our young team in the
       weeks ahead!
       Up the Ks!!
