Dave Pearse: Hugely experienced, Dave returned to Bridgwater Town as joint
player/manager with Karl Baggaley in season 2017/18 and will be looking to build
on the progress made in recent years.
Karl Baggaley: Assistant Manager who has worked alongside Dave Pearse for
many years
Jake Viney: Fantastic shot stopper and sweeper keeper. After suffering a serious
injury which kept him out for a whole season in 2016/17, he has come back
stronger than ever with a string of outstanding performances.
Mark Armstrong: Captain of the club and a born leader, Mark is an experienced,
hardworking, tough tackling midfielder, equally comfortable in central defence.
Ryan Brereton: Ryan is an exciting and dynamic midfielder with a great left foot
who joined from Bishops Lydeard.
Mike Duffy: Mike has committed to the club once again and will be looking to
establish his place in the starting line-up with high energy, combative
performances.
Harry Durant: Young defender who enjoyed promotion from the U18 side last
year and has won end of season awards and looks accomplished in Western League
football.
Jordan Greenwood: Jordan is a widely experienced, ‘body on the line’ defender
who is equally comfortable as central defender or on the left flank.
Adnan Hiroli: Adnan is a very experienced attacker who was a key member of the
Odd Down side that won the Western League title in 2015/16. He brings a winning
mentality to the squad and will add goals and goal scoring chances to the team.
George King: Midfielder from Clevedon Town and is the son of well-known
Bridgwater Town and Western League goalscorer Ryan King.
Jake Llewellyn: Top quality defender who has played at National League South
Level for Weston super Mare; great going forward with a wand of a left foot.
Tom Llewellyn: Brother of Jake and another who has played at a higher level and
will do again. Son of former Bristol City favourite Andy Llewellyn.
Jacob Spence: Strong and powerful defender joined from Ashton and Backwell
United last season and can score goals.
Jack Taylor: ‘Fan’s favourite’ Jack signed from Wellington three seasons ago and
winning numerous end of season awards in Robins’ colours. Has well over a century
of goals for the club and is closing in on the all time scoring record.
Dave Thorne: Now in his fifth season at the club ‘Mr Consistent’ is an 8/10 week
in week out. Dave is a committed tough tackling defender who always gives
everything and having missed all of last season is back to fitness.
Jaden Hurd: Son of well known local keeper Kevin Hurd, he stepped up from the
youth side when Jake Viney was suspended and kept a clean sheet on his debut,
although sustaining an injury which finished his season.
Conor Hartley: Winger who had spells in the Southern League last season with
Taunton Town and Bideford having impressed at Ashton and Backwell United.
Josh Phillips: 21 year old full back who was at Street before joining Dorchester
Town where he was U23 player of the year.
Arthur Furness: A young defender who is based in Bristol and has played in Welsh
Leagues for Risca and Cardiff Met.
