Welcome
Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.
We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Longwell Green Sports FC, for this Toolstation
Western League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short
stay with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.
Four wins in our last five matches - a bit on consistent form at long
last. We could have expected to have pulled a little further away from
the bottom two spots with that run of results but perhaps the fact
that we still find ourselves in the bottom three places underlines just
how difficult a predicament we had found ourselves in!
Today we meet Longwell Green Sports who have experienced a
similar inconsistent season so far will be looking to improve their
standing today. They have found some winning form in recent times
so we look forward to an entertaining game today.
This afternoon we remember those who sacrificed so much
so that we may have the chance to enjoy ourselves.
We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
again.
