View from the dugout
It’s been a few weeks since a home Saturday game, but our unbeaten run
is s ll going and have to go back to the FC Bristol game on 20th August since
we lost a league game.
We have lost 2 cup games to Bath City & Corsham Town but done well
against higher league opposi on.
As well as playing good football we are learning to grind out results as we
did last week against Radstock.
On the flip side of that our performance against Por shead was probably
one of the best team performances we have witnessed in a few years.
Perksy is s ll looking to improve the squad & recently signed Oaklan Buck
who had a great season as Bishop Su on last year & is hopeful of securing
another one before todays game.
Today we face a young Hengrove side who no doubt will try & cause is a few
problems but we know we are more than capable of matching their
enthusiasm.
On Tuesday we welcome AEK Boco in the Les Philips cup with the winners
facing an away e to Bristol Telephones
Enjoy the game
