League Review

Roman Glass St George, Royal Wootton Bassett Town, Cribbs, Hartpury University. Corsham
Town, Mangotsfield United, Thornbury Town and Brimscombe & Thrupp were all victorious
in their FA Vase ties. Brimscombe & Thrupp were penalty shoot-out winners in their tie
against Torpoint Athletic with Adam Price scoring a later equaliser leading to the shoot-out.

There were some great crowds across the games with over 200 at games at Pershore,
Newent and St Blazey.
In the Premier Division there was a remarkable game at Sawmills where Pegaus saw off
Longlevens by 6 goals to 4. Elsehwere in the division Chipping Sodbury and Hereford Lads
Club shared seven goals, with Chipping Sodbury Town coming out on top 5-2 victors. In the
divisions other game Wantage Town put up a great performance to emerge 2-0 winners over
Premier high-fliers Malvern Town.

Division One saw Shortwood United score six away from home as they defeated Kidlington
Reserves 6-0. Malmesbury Victoria saw off Bourton Rovers 1-0 with a goal from Harrison
Archer. And at Littleton two goals from Alex Kibble and one from Lewis Bainbridge handed
Stonehouse Town a 3-0 victory.

A Jamie Goodwin double for Moreton Rangers put them 2-0 up at the break but a late
comeback from Abingdon United earned the visitors a point with the game ending at 2-2.
Jack badger and Isiah Stallone scoring the goals for United.

In the division’s othe rgame Southam United won 1-0 against Clanfield
