Good afternoon and welcome to Oaklands Park. A big
welcome to Tuffley Rovers players, staff, and committee
members.

Tuffley Rovers is a club that means a lot to me personally
having spent my first years of men’s football there.
Although the reverse fixture was a 5-0 win in our favour, I
am expecting a completely different game this time round.
They have recruited well in the last few weeks, and like any
side fighting to stay in the division they will look to raise
their game.

For us it is important to see a big reaction from Wednesday
nights defeat. We were not as the races and the score line
flatters us. We have conceded 9 goals in the last two games
which is not good enough for where we want to be. That
said it has been against the two best sides in the division,
and we’ve scored 8 goals ourselves, so we just need to get
the balance right in our play.
