Nick’s Notes, The Resies
We would to thank 3 of our longest supporters Mike, Tony and Dave for

Firstly, I would like to thank Tony, Mike and Dave, our longest and most
loyal supporters for sponsoring me, thank you, it’s very much

appreciated. I will be brief as not a lot of spare time at the moment. Last
Saturday we travelled to Middlezoy Reserves, lost 3-0, to say a
disappointing performance is putting it very mildly, this is my 7th season
as manager and it was easily the worst performance I have witnessed.
The players know that, so we move on.
Today we are at Welton Rovers reserves ko 3pm, then Tuesday evening
a local derby at Yatton & Cleeve, 6.30 KO. Not making excuses but the

holiday/festival season plus a few injuries is hitting us hard with non
availability of players at the moment. But then that’s an opportunity for
someone else. Im hoping Sam Thomas will be on the bench today as he
starts his return to fitness following a knee operation.
We would all like to pass on our congratulations to reserve skipper, Lewis
Smart and his partner Ellie on becoming parents for the first time last
week, welcome a new supporter Archie Smart.
It seems a while since I’ve seen you, our next home game is Saturday
sept. 10, KO 3pm.
