#NoHomeKit
The Pitching In Southern League will again be supporting Shelter's
#NoHomeKitcampaign for the festive fixtures this year. Despite Covid-related
postponements, last year's campaign was a huge success, with hundreds of clubs getting
involved, altogether raising over £500k for the cause. But as the cost of living crisis worsens,
homelessness and unsafe housing conditions are affecting all of our communities.
Organisations like Shelter, who help anyone facing homelessness or poor housing, whilst also
fighting the systemic causes of the housing emergency, have never been more important.
Clubs in the Southern League are dedicating one home fixture across the Christmas period
to the campaign. Yate Town fully support this worthy campaign and today we will be playing
in our away kit to raise awareness.

       What is #NoHomeKit?
This Christmas, we're asking clubs and fans from across football to swap their home colours
for an away or third kit, show support and raise vital funds for those with no safe place to
       call home.
       Why we need your support
Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless in England. The housing emergency
continues to devastate lives. This winter, thousands of people will spend Christmas trapped
in dingy hostels, on friends’ sofas, or even sleeping in freezing cars. This is something we
can’t ignore. With the growing cost of living crisis, the situation is set to get much worse.
With your help Shelter can continue to provide free advice and support to the thousands of
people facing homelessness and continue the fight for home.

       Campaign aims
       ● Raise awareness of the scale of homelessness amongst football fans.
       ● Raise funds to support Shelter’s effort to end the housing emergency.
       ● Unite the football community in support of those with no safe place to call home.
