P. 3
Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to the
players, coaching team and supporters of our local
rivals Bitton for this Toolstation Western League
Division One game. This game was originally
scheduled for September, but was postponed at the
last minute due to circumstances beyond our control.
Our committee would also like to welcome today’s
match officials, referee Louis Stone and his 2
assistants, Mark Oswin & Brian Bishop.
After our last 2 away games at Bristol Telephones
and Warminster Town fell victim to our wonderful
British weather, the lads followed up on their
fantastic 2-0 derby win at home to Brislington on Boxing Day with a convincing 5-2
victory over Hallen on a bitterly cold Tuesday evening. We came from behind twice,
with our goals coming from Jemar Thomas (2), Joe Davis, Brandon Oputeri & Theo
Jeremy.
For those of you who attended the Boxing Day game, you may recall that we were
collecting that afternoon on behalf of 2 fantastic local charities supported by our
club – the Jessie May Trust and Children’s Hospice South West. Your generous
support on the day raised over £130, meaning that overall the club has raised in
excess of £750 for these 2 worthy causes.
We have another local derby next week, with Cadbury Heath the visitors to Crown
th
Fields on Saturday 20 January (3pm kick-off).
Don’t forget to keep up with all the Ks news via our social media channels!
As always, I thank you for your continued support for the rest of the season!
Up the Ks!!
Jules French (Club Secretary)
