Biography: David joined us in June 2021 to form the Joint Management Team with both Matt
Huxley and George Boon having previously managed, and coached at, Tytherington
Rocks in the Hellenic League as well as coached at Roman Glass St George. David
is well known in the local football scene having played for a number of clubs
including The Heath and is a UEFA B Qualified Coach. David is sponsored by Mike
Easlick.
Name: George Boon Role: Joint Player Manager Position: Winger
Past Clubs: Bristol City, Bristol Manor Farm
Biography: Another club legend. After a youth career at Bristol City, and a short spell at Bristol
Manor Farm, George has been at the heart of the Heath team for a number of
seasons, making 366 appearances and scoring 70 goals. An out and out left winger,
he’s a creative force and regularly tops the assists for the season. Has become Joint
Player Manager for the 2021/22 season alongside David Doe and Matt Huxley.

Name: Matt Huxley Role: Joint Player Manager Position: Striker

Biography: The very definition of a club legend. After a youth career at Southampton, Matt
cruelly had his pro career at the Saints cut short and returned to Bristol to forge a
phenomenal goalscoring career in the non-league scene. After short, goalscoring,
spells at Weston-Super-Mare and Bitton, Matt signed for Oldland Abbotonians and
scored a total of 150 goals in 155 games. After short spells at Yate and
Mangotsfield, Matt signed for Cadbury Heath and is the club’s all time top scorer
with an unbelievable 288 goals in 369 appearances. Left the club and signed for
Oldland in September 2020 but returned in June 2021 as Joint Player Manager for
the 2021/22 season alongside David Doe and George Boon. Matt is sponsored by
Chris Smith.
Name: Aaron Day Role: Assistant Manager
Biography: Aaron rejoined The Heath in December 2021 as Assistant Manager and Coach and
this coincided with a big upturn in form on the pitch. He was previously Coach with
the first team during the 2020/21 season. Aaron has previously played for The
Heath during an excellent playing career and his work is hugely appreciated by all
at the club. Aaron is sponsored by Keith Huxley.
Name: Rich Thompson Role: Kit Man/Coach
Biography: Rich joined The Heath at the start of the 21/22 season as kit man and also assists
the management team with coaching and match day duties. He’s a popular
member of the management group and the club.

Biography: Keeper who has previously played for Tytherington Rocks in the Hellenic League
and joined The Heath in July 2021. Has made 45 appearances for The Heath.

Name: Harry Goldspink Position: Full Back / Midfield
Past Clubs: Almondsbury U18, Longwell Green, Oldland Abbotonians
Biography: Harry signed for the Heath for the 2019/20 season after impressing in pre-season
and after playing in the successful Almondsbury U18 side. Left at the start of the
2020/21 season and had short spells with Longwell Green and Oldland before
returning to us in July 2021. Has made 70 appearances for The Heath scoring 2
goals. Harry is sponsored by Dave Starr.
