Welcome





       Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

       We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
       supporters  of  Sherborne  Town  FC,  for  this  Toolstation  Western
       League First Division fixture.  We hope they enjoy their short stay
       with  us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
       thanks  to  our  Match  Officials  for  today  and  hope  they  enjoy  the
       game.

       Football  is  a  ‘Funny  Old  Game’  isn’t  it?  Earlier  in  the  season  we
       couldn’t BUY a victory. Now - we have won seven of the last nine
       games,  including  last week’s stunning 3-0  win over the previously
       unbeaten league leaders Welton Rovers!

       Today we meet another promotion contender Sherborne Town who
       will definitely provide equally tough opposition. The same application
       is going to be required from our lads.

       We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
       again.
