Here we go again then!

It is our pleasure to welcome the players, officials
and supporters of Hallen AFC to Crown Fields this
afternoon, along with today’s match officials,
referee Dan Bugg and his assistants Alex Setchell
& Ian Purchase.

I don't know about you, but to me It seems an
age ago that we last took to the field in the FA Vase
defeat to Bashley and it feels good to be under way
again. I can only hope that with a light now shining
at the end of the tunnel, we will be able to find a
way to complete this season satisfactorily and for
next season to be contested under normal
circumstances.

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to new signings to the Club,
Callum Baker (striker) who has joined us from Bishop Sutton and to Jamie Gregory
(defender) from Westbury United. All being well that we are able to continue the
season without significant further interruption, games will be coming our way thick
and fast and these two lads are without doubt strong additions to the squad in what
are key positions. I am looking forward to seeing both in action.

On Boxing Day we entertain local rivals Brislington here at Crown Fields (12.30 KO)
which is sure to be a keenly contested affair and I look forward to seeing as many
of you here as can be to cheer the lads on. In the meantime , I hope that you enjoy
today’s game and that both you and your families have a great Christmas.
