Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Gillingham Town FC, for this Toolstation Western
League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.

Sadly, out hiatus of a win against Devizes in our last league home
match did not lead to renewed fortune in our subsequent matches.
Last Saturday we exited the FA Vase at the first hurdle, 2-1 at home
to Cheltenham Saracens, and then on Wednesday we lost 3-1 across
the road at GFA Headquarters against Lebeq United. All this leaves
us one place off the foot of the table and needing to arrest the
current situation sooner rather than later.

Today we meet Gillingham Town who themselves have not made the
best of starts to their own campaign and will be looking to improve
that today.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
again.
