Gloucestershire League
Longwell Green proved a little too strong for a valiant Dursley Town in the Gordon Perrett
League Cup Final at Cirencester. Kate Michael gave Longwell the lead in the first half, before
Lucy Werrett made it two after the break and Michael scored her second to round off the victory
for her side.
In Division Three, third placed Downend Flyers Res finished off the season like a train
and won 2-1 against Southmead Community Sport. Michaela Adams scored both goals to
hand Downend a tenth win in eleven league matches - the other being a goalless draw with
Champions Bradley Stoke - and victory over
the last team to have beaten them this season. Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire
