A Word from the Chairman….

Good afternoon and welcome to the
Players, Officials and Supporters of
Fry Football Club. We hope they
enjoy their visit to BBS Park the
home of Mendip Broadwalk and
have a safe journey home this
evening.

6 games in and we’ve won all 6.
In those 6 wins we’ve faced some
tough opposition showing what a
strong and competitive league it is. For that reason it’s made the start
even more rewarding from my point of view. Tuesday just gone we
faced a solid Worle team. With their previous striker returning to
manage them and recruiting some new players meant it was a tough
game. A largely frustrating first half saw us go in 1-0 down and not
playing well. Second half was a very different story and our quality
told. We ended up winning 3-1.

We expect todays game against Fry Club to be another tough test.

You will notice work continues to improve the facility and BBS Park to
bring us inline with Western League standards. The ambition of the
club is to achieve this sooner rather than later.

Only time will tell if we have the squad and the facility. As always
we’ll be giving it everything !!
