We were obviously gu ed our undefeated run came to an end against Gillingham. To be
fair we had enough chances to win the game but yet again a combina on of poor finishing
& another keeper ge ng MOTM against us cost us in the end. But the visitors were on a
high a er 4 wins on the bounce & have certainly turned things around since the start of
       the season.

The only good thing to come out of it was the superb support shown by the players in
raising money at the fancy dress party on the evening for Ash Kington who suffered an ACL
injury & is out for the season.

The rumour was that the players plus guests drank the clubhouse dry of spirits on the
night. And certainly made clubhouse manager Sharon earn her money that night.

We bounced back last Tuesday with a great 4-1 at Hengrove on a horrible wet & windy
night. We went 1-0 down but two quick 1st half goals & 2 late goals sealed the win. We
even missed a penalty at 1-0 down.

On Saturday we had another tough local derby against Bristol Telephones we managed a
1-0 win thanks to a Jordan Ricke s penalty. Again the game was played in tough condi ons
                      Leaders show their worth
& credit to the home side who worked hard and went close on a couple of occasions.
Today our visitors are Bishops Lydeard whom we beat 6-1 a few weeks back. But as we’ve
seen so many mes this season teams are certainly raising their games when they come
       here.

       Enjoy the game
