Hellenic League Review…..
Bishops Cleeve appear to be marching inexorably towards the Premier
Division Championship. On Saturday they cruised to a 4-1 win over bottom
of the table Hallen and in the process confirmed the Bristol Club’s
relegation after just one year in the top division. The prolific Jack Watts
scored twice, Joe Selman and Jack Rhodes the others whilst Leo Eglin
notched a consolation goal for Hallen.
Westbury United shared a 2-2 draw at Brimscombe & Thrupp to keep
both clubs interested in the promotion race. Oliver Barnes and Harlie Price
were on target for Brimscombe; Ryan Bole and Callum Demkiv for the
Wiltshire side who lie second in the table.
Two more contenders, Corsham Town and Cribbs, fought out a goal less
draw.
A single goal from Kyonn Evans fifteen minutes from time gave Malvern
Town a vital victory at Thornbury Town.
George Box fired a hat trick to give Bradford Town a narrow 3-2 success
at Hereford Lads Club to keep their hopes alive. Tom Bendall and Kiea
Cowley-Hair replied for the home side.
Royal Wootton Bassett Town were 2-0 winners at Longlevens thanks
to goals from John Mills and Alfie Presley.
Roman Glass St. George edged out Chipping Sodbury Town 2-1. On
target for the Saints were Neikell Plummer and Shaquille Smith, for Sodbury
veteran Justin Bishop scored a late consolation goal.

Town thanks to Danny Gudger, Ross Langworthy and an own goal.

took all three points at Tuffley Rovers.
