Charlie, who can play either as a central defender or central midfield, has now
signed for The Magpies, having initially joined them on loan from Weston-super-
Mare in January. Charlie began his career as a scholar at Exeter City, but left in
2015, and joined American university Franklin Pierce in New Hampshire for four
years before signing for Weston super Mare in 2019. Born Torbay. Age 23.

Oakley Hanger
Oakley, who can play either a full back or central defence, has returned to the club,
having initially made his first team debut for The Magpies in August 2014, after
progression from the club’s reserve team. He went on to make 68 first team
appearances, and scored two goals before leaving the club in April 2016 to travel
to The USA where he completed a four-year scholarship. Oakley also played at
schoolboy and youth level with Yeovil Town. Born Dorchester. Age 24. Sponsored

Harry Hodges
Harry, is a versatile defender, who joined The Magpies in the summer, can play at
right-back or centre-back, and can also play in centre-midfield. Harry was a youth
player at Plymouth Argyle, and subsequently joined Bristol Rovers, and also spent

Sam Poole
Sam is a central defender who began his career in the youth and reserve teams at
Weymouth, before making his first team debut in the 2011-12 season, and he went
on to make one hundred and seventy-five appearances for The Terras, captaining
them on fifty occasions. He then moved to Blackfield & Langley in 2015, and
captained the club to successive promotions in The Wessex Premier Division in
2017-18 and The Southern League Division One South & West the following
season. Sam then moved to Wimborne Town last season, but has decided to join

Ashley Wells
Ashley is a versatile, skillful defender who can play anywhere across the back line,
and he has re-joined The Magpies having played for us last season on a dual
registration basis from neighbours Weymouth, with whom he had made over 300
appearances. Ashley has also played for Portland United. Born Dorchester. Age 29.
Tiago Marques Sa
Tiago, who is a versatile defender, initially joined The Magpies on a short-term loan
from his parent club Weymouth in September 2018, before joining the club on a
permanent basis prior to last season. Born Portugal. Age 22.
Midfielders:
Sam Bayston
Sam is a wide midfield player, who relishes the opportunity to get forward
whenever the opportunity presents. Sam has been with local rivals Wimborne Town
for the majority of the past five seasons, and has also had spells with Hamworthy
United, New Milton Town and Poole Town. Sam had a decent goalscoring and goal
assist record with Wimborne last season, and is a player who works hard off the
