League Review
Corsham Town and Hartpury University into next
round of FA Vase – Saturday round-up
Headline action for uhlsport Hellenic League clubs this weekend was in the Isuzu FA Vase.
We had two of our clubs making it through to the next round.
Hartpury University from our Division One were remarkable 7-0 victors over Bovey Tracey.
Well done to Hartpury who have little experience of the FA Vase but have made great strides
this season.
Corsham Town were also victors in their all Hellenic clash against Royal Wootton Bassett,
although it did take a penalty shoot-out to separate the two sides.
Commiserations to Cribbs who lost a very close game against Western League opposition on
Friday evening. Cribbs can now concentrate on the league!
Elsewhere in cup competitions there was an impressive 3-0 victory for Division Two East
Newbury at Cheltenham Saracens.
In league fixtures there were two 5-4 away victories in our leagues with Bradford Town
winning by that scoreline at Tuffley Rovers and Pershore Town winning at Stonehouse by the
same scoreline!
