On Tuesday night we welcomed Keynsham Town. Local
derbies are normally feisty affairs but to be fair we showed
no fight in the first half.
We had to make changes from last week’s great result
against Street. This meant players not playing in normal
posi ons but the players are good enough to adapt.
The result is certainly not what we wanted and we knew we let ourselves
down.
Today we turn our a en on to the FA cup and welcome Brimscombe &
Thrupp.
We have played them before in this compe on and we’re on the end of
a 2-1 defeat. Everyone knows that the early rounds of the cup can be a
money-spinner for clubs at our level. And hopefully we can put in a
performance to earn the club so much needed revenue.
On Tuesday we welcome Bridgwater United.
