Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Oldland Abbotonians FC, for this Toolstation Western
League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us
and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our thanks to our
Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the game.

Since the start of the New Year we have played two matches and lost them
both. The first by the odd goal in seven against Bristol Telephones last
Tuesday evening, and the second came last Saturday at Hengrove Athletic
when we went down 3-1 despite Joe White’s second goal in two games. As
a result we find ourselves looking over our shoulders at the relegation zone
once again and need to discover our pre-Christmas form asap.

Tuesday evening saw us draw 1-1 with local rivals Tytherington Rocks with
Isaac Flynn scoring our goal. Let’s hope we can go one better today.

Today we meet Oldland Abbotonians who are having a reasonable season
to date and so another tough game is anticipated.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all again.
